Manufacturing Engineer

Design, develop and optimize assembly manufacturing processes
Provide manufacturing process input for customers RFQs
Lead PPAP and Start Of Production (SOP) activities of new products in subordinate
departments
Improve existing production processes
Sourcing of machines and tooling suppliers
Prepare equipment and tooling specifications and assure suppliers compliance
Support engineering development activities from a manufacturing standpoint
Measure, track and achieve operative and financial project objectives agreed with supervisor
Supervise and approve the design, set-up and start-up of machines and tools
Deliver technical solutions within cost, quality and timeliness defined in the project scope
Cooperate with other areas of the company to ensure proper project implementation
Coordinate and supervise project documentation (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow
Diagram)
Support projects with manufacturing technical data during customer meetings and tech reviews
Cooperate with R&D Tech Centers and other Katcon locations on global projects, and/or
development programs with manufacturing inputs
Cooperation with diverse company departments to ensure proper project development

Engineering studies background
Production or manufacturing work experience
Automotive industry work experience
Understanding of GD&T
Office applications is a must
Perfect command of English
Talent for prioritizing and multi-tasking
Result oriented, flexible and able to work in a multicultural team
